Surname DNA Journal’s editor will be attending the 9th International Conference on Genetic Genealogy hosted by Family Tree DNA this weekend in Houston, Texas (Nov 9-10, 2013).

Speakers will include Dr. Maurice Gleeson of Genetic Genealogy Ireland 2013  as well as Dr. Michael Hammer, Roberta Estes and many other leaders in the field of genetic genealogy.  Roberta has attended all previous eight conferences and writes some wonderful anecdotes about the growth of genetic genealogy on her site, DNAeXplained.

DNA Project Administrators are invited to contribute papers and share their findings through the peer-review process  at Surname DNA Journal.  Contact the Editor for details.

Update 11/8/2013:  The Editor of Surname DNA Journal will be speaking to the attendees on Sunday afternoon, 11/10/2013, to provide an overview of the Journal and how DNA Project administrators can contribute as authors and reviewers.
